About The Melbourne Club

The Melbourne Club is a commercial building with three floors above ground, used for indoor entertainment and recreation. Completed in 1858, it was designed by Leonard Terry, with later refurbishment by Terry & Oakden. In November 2021 an air-rights deal for the club was approved as part of the Dexus 52-60 Collins Street tower, and in April 2022 the Victorian Government announced it would buy the club's airspace to protect the clubhouse.
