Listing data licence

The terms that apply when an agency sends That's Built its listings. Last updated 8 November 2026.

This licence is between That's Built ("we", "us") and the agency you represent ("you"). It applies from when you agree to it on our contact form or start sending us listings. Our terms of use and privacy policy also apply.

1. What you share

Listing data you send us by feed, API or upload: property details, price or price guide, dates, inspection times, agent contact details, descriptions, photos, floor plans and videos ("Listing Content").

2. Licence

You grant That's Built a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to copy, store, format and display Listing Content on That's Built (including the building page for the listing's address, your agency's page, search results, alerts and building reports), and to link to your listing and agency website. You keep ownership of your Listing Content.

3. After a listing ends

When a listing is withdrawn, sold or leased we remove its photos, floor plans, descriptions, videos and the agents' contact details. We keep its basic facts (address, unit, property type, listing type, advertised price and dates, sold or leased status where published, and the agency's name) as part of the building's history. This section continues after this licence ends.

4. Your agency's page

That's Built shows your agency's name, and the buildings it has listed in or is otherwise associated with, on a page for your agency and in search results. These are facts about the agency's work, some of which also come from public sources, and they stay on That's Built as part of the public record, including after a listing ends or this licence ends. The page shows when an association happened and doesn't suggest a current relationship with us. If an association is wrong, tell us and we'll correct or remove it. We don't use your logo or branding there without permission. This section continues after this licence ends.

5. Your promises

You confirm that you're authorised to agree to this licence for the agency, that the agency has the right to share the Listing Content (including photos licensed from photographers), that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that sharing it does not breach any agreement or law. You'll tell us if a listing is wrong or has ended.

6. What we won't do

We will not sell or license your Listing Content to third parties, use agent contact details for unrelated marketing, or alter the meaning of your listing. We may pass enquiries from That's Built users to the listing agent.

7. Stopping the feed

You can stop the feed and end this licence at any time through our contact page. Within five business days we'll remove the photos, floor plans, descriptions, videos and agents' contact details of your current listings. Their basic facts and your agency's page stay, as sections 3 and 4 explain. We may also stop showing a listing or end this licence at any time, for example if we receive a complaint about the content.

8. Attribution

Listings show the agency name and link back to the listing on your website or the portal you nominate.

9. Liability and law

We display Listing Content as you send it, and we don't guarantee that any listing will appear or lead to an enquiry. Nothing in this licence takes away rights that can't be excluded by law. This licence is governed by the law of Victoria, Australia. If we change it we'll update it here, change the date at the top and tell you before the change applies to your listings.
