About Wesley Church
Wesley Church is a neo-Gothic church at 136 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne, used for performances, conferences and ceremonies. Joseph Reed was the architect of the church, which was begun in 1857 and completed in 1858. Charter Hall is the developer. A $200 million site redevelopment was approved in April 2016, and construction began in November 2017 on a Wesley Place tower wrapping the church. Restoration of the church forms part of the Wesley Place precinct.
